We love both of these bands. The influential and frequently overlooked Thirteenth Floor Elevators still sound important and visceral on record, and fellow Texan's Okkervil River have consistently evolved on record incorperating indie, folk, pop, rock and the highest Americana... so a come back/collaboration/love-in and the steady steady hands of Okkervil's Will Sheff appealed greatly!!

The Record moves from the sparse and delicate to the more robust and at times euphoric. It's an emotional record and at times deeply moving.
